We had a grand stay with a lovely courtyard and the room was a delight—so spacious and beautifully decorated! The staff were real sound folks, helping us with everything we needed. Only downside was the location. a bit off the beaten path. But overall, a mighty experience!

Heard great things about Riad Chbanate, but it came with a few hiccups. The room looked stunning. the decor was like art. But the only shower type was a fixed head overhead, which made showering a bit awkward. The bathroom felt a bit exposed too, as the barrier was just a curtain, not offering much privacy after a bath. The staff made up for it with warm hospitality. they helped with local restaurant bookings and made sure everything was neat and tidy. Breakfast was a treat every morning, especially the pastries and fresh juice. the location felt a bit far from the main attractions, requiring a longer walk through the medina. the lack of fire in the fireplace, despite the marketing, was disappointing during the chilly nights. If they fixed those little things, it’d be a perfect retreat.

It was just a fine choice for a city break in Essaouira with good value for cost. The staff were super friendly, even making us tea and cake late at night after our arrival. Best to explore the local cafes for breakfast as options were limited.

The Riad's charm is undeniable. My family and I loved the cozy atmosphere, and we were treated to a delightful breakfast spread every morning. The staff went above and beyond, even arranging dinner for us. The rooftop terrace offered stunning sunset views, making our stay even more memorable.
My kids wished for more space in the common areas.
